Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible from the central Plains to the Northeast through this evening. Widespread damaging winds are the primary threat but hail and a tornado or two is also possible. The tornado touched down southeast of Center near Herbert Hodges Road. It damaged 3 or 4 barns and snapped numerous trees. The tornado lifted 1.5 miles east-southeast of Center.
