The same Goshen snow shower, but much closer! In the center of the picture is the heavy snow, mixed with some sleet. To the right is an area of snow that is evaporating before it reaches the ground. An experiment you can try at home! This was sunrise on December 23, 2000, at the weather office. The temperature was almost 10 degrees below zero.
