Drought is affecting roughly 77% of Alabama and has worsened to extreme levels across the southern part of the state. Drought is forecast to persist through at least the month of April.

Increasing high clouds tonight. Lows from the upper 40s northeast to the low 50s southwest. Northeast winds 3-6 mph.

Partly cloudy. Highs in the lower 70s east to the upper 70s west. East winds 7-14 mph.
