Rain chances return to the forecast on Saturday as a cold front moves through the region. Chances for showers and storms will begin to increase during the afternoon hours, peaking during the evening and overnight hours. Rainfall amounts will generally be less than one inch so we do not expect any improvements to our ongoing drought conditions.
Drought is affecting all Alabama. While we do have low to medium rain chances this weekend, it will do little to alleviate the drought conditions.
Mostly clear tonight. Lows in the upper 50s to lower 60s.
Increasing clouds and rain chances in the afternoon, especially northwest. Highs in the 80s.
