An Extreme Cold Warning is in effect for the western two thirds of the area, & a Cold Weather Advisory is in effect for the rest of Central Alabama. The warning & advisory go from midnight tonight (Saturday) through noon on Saturday. Dangerously cold wind chills as low as -4 degrees is possible in the warning area & as low as 5 degrees is possible in the advisory area.
