Details:

4/3/1956: Touched down approximately 5 miles southwest of Arthur. It was on the ground for 5 miles, passing south of Arthur. It caused $25,000 on property damage.
8/10/1974: Brief touchdown in Dalton City.
8/8/1980: This tornado touched down about a mile southeast of Bethany. It was on the ground for approximately 1 mile, and was 60 yards wide.
4/7/1998: This tornado touched down 2 miles south of Cadwell and moved northeast. It damaged or destroyed 9 homes, as well as numerous outbuildings. Four people were injured when a mobile home was blown off its foundation. The tornado later moved into Douglas County, after being on the ground for 3 miles in Moultrie County.
7/8/2001: On the ground for 2 miles, near Lovington. Maximum width was 150 yards.
7/8/2001: Brief touchdown 3 miles south-southeast of Sullivan.
3/30/2005: Touched down 6 miles northeast of Lovington, and moved 2 miles northeast. Destroyed several outbuildings and grain bins.
11/17/2013: This was part of a 10 tornado outbreak that affected central Illinois. This tornado touched down about 3 miles northeast of Lovington, and moved northeast before crossing into Douglas County about 5 miles north of Arthur. Click here for more details.
6/19/2019: Brief touchdown in a field 2.3 miles east of Bethany, causing some minor crop damage.
5/28/2020: Brief landspout tornado in an open field 2.7 miles north-northeast of Bethany.
5/28/2020: Brief landspout tornado about 2 miles northwest of Lovington.
12/10/2021: This tornado touched down in Windsor, and clipped southeast Moultrie County before strengthening in Coles County. Click here for more details.
