INTERSECTION OF PARK DALE DRIVE...GREENWAY CIRCLE AND LANDING
ROAD...IN BELMONT NORTH CAROLINA LATE SUNDAY AFTERNOON MARCH 28,
2010.

METAL SHEET ROOFING WAS TORN...PEELED...ROLLED AND THROWN IN
MULTIPLE DIRECTIONS...AND INTERIOR WALLS COLLAPSED...IN THE PARK
DALE MILL. IN ADDITION A TRACTOR TRAILOR TRUCK WAS OVERTURNED ON
THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE MILL...ADJACENT TO A DOCKING AREA.

DAMAGE WAS NOTED TO A MOBILE HOME SUB-DIVISION ADJACENT TO THE
MILL...WITH TREE DAMAGE ALSO NOTED AROUND THE AREA. INSULATION
FROM THE MILL WAS THROWN A DISTANCE ACROSS THE CATAWBA RIVER AND
FOUND NEAR WILKINSON AVENUE IN WESTERN MECKLENBURG COUNTY.

POCKETS OF INTENSE WINDS WERE NOTED IN WEST CHARLOTTE...OF MECKLENBURG
COUNTY....JUST NORTH OF INTERSTATE 85...ALONG SAM WILSON ROAD TO WILDWOOD
AVE. TREES WERE KNOCKED DOWN IN A FORWARD FALLING DIRECTION ALONG
THE PATH OF THE STRAIGHT LINE WINDS. ONE TREE FELL ON A HOME
CAUSING CONSIDERABLE DAMAGE.

OTHER POCKETS OF DAMAGE...WITH PRIMARILY TREES BEING KNOCKED DOWN...
EXTENDED OUT TO MOUNT HOLLY ROAD AND ROCKWOOD DRIVE.
