Heavy Rainfall
Thunderstorms dropped heavy rain in some locations as they tracked through Lower Michigan last night. The worst-hit areas experienced minor flooding of streets and in low-lying areas. As is typical when we see thunderstorms, rainfall can vary quite a bit from place to place. Rain totals at the Lansing airport was 0.68 inches yet just south of there in Eaton Rapids there was almost 4 inches of rainfall.
