A warm and humid night will unfold across North and Central Texas tonight with increasing cloud cover ahead of a rare summertime cold front. This will bring isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms to the region, and help to slightly moderate temperatures.
Storm chances will continue Wednesday night as a weak cold front sags south through the region. Rain and storm chances will shift mainly into Central and East Texas on Thursday.
A warm and mostly rain-free start to the weekend will be followed by increasing rain chances and cooler conditions late weekend through early next week.
