Active Weather for the West and Northeast Corridors

Moisture continues to flow into portions of the West, Great Basin and Rockies with strong winds, lower elevation rain and higher elevation snow. Precipitation will occasionally be heavy with impacts to travel and possible power outages. In the wake of a weak cold front, temperatures this afternoon will range from the lower 60s in eastern North TX to the lower 70s in western Central TX. A warming trend can be expected this weekend with afternoon highs climbing into the mid 70s to lower 80s by Sunday.
Cooler air will arrive on Monday with a cold front. No rain is expected with this system. Another front will arrive late Wednesday and will bring a low chance for rain across the far eastern counties Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
Another cold front will bring a slight chance of showers across East Texas during the morning, along with breezy weather and seasonable temperatures in time for Thanksgiving.
