Rainfall total across the region for 27-28 August 2015

Heavy rain fell across portions of southeast South Dakota, northeast Nebraska and northwest Iowa last week. The heaviest rainfall was in southwest sections of Sioux Falls where 7.52 inches of rain was reoprted. Areas of Turner County South Dakota as well as Plymouth County Iowa received 3 to 5 inches of rain. The Sioux City area had from 1 to 3 inches of rain.
