We continue with chances for showers and thunderstorms over the next couple of days. We finally begin to dry out over the week with generally rain-free weather persisting into next week.
Scattered to widespread showers and thunderstorms are likely again today as a cold front moves through the region. We knock several degrees off our highs today with temps settling into the low to mid 80s.
Some showers and storms will linger through the evening hours in the southeast, with activity tapering off by midnight. Lows tonight drop into the 60s.
Low to medium chances for showers and storms continue across the northeastern half of the area on Friday. Temperatures remain cooler than they have been with highs in the upper 70s to mid 80s.
