There is a level 2 out of 5 risk for severe thunderstorms on Monday, April 27. Hazards include tornadoes, damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph, and hail up to quarter size. The timing of this event looks to be sometime Monday into Monday night. Details will be refined as we get closer.
A warm and sunny day is in store across Central Alabama today. Highs top out in the low to mid 80s.
Mostly clear skies expected tonight with lows in the mid 50s to around 60°
