There is a level 1 to 2 (out of 5) risk for severe thunderstorms this evening and tonight for areas west of Interstate 65. The primary threats are damaging winds and large hail.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast for Central Alabama tonight with low temperatures in the upper 50s to lower 60s. There is a low risk for a severe storm west of Interstate 65.
Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms should redevelop through the course of Saturday with high temperatures in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Winds will be south at 5-10 mph with gusts up to 15 mph.
