Beryl Coming Ashore; Severe Thunderstorms and Excessive Rainfall for Southern Plains; Dangerous Heat for the West

Beryl will make landfall along the Texas coast tonight. Significant impacts include hurricane force winds, storm surge and excessive rainfall; A few tornadoes will also be possible. In addition, severe weather and heavy rainfall are expected for areas of the Southern Plains today.
