November 2015 was warmer than normal and wetter than normal for most of the area. The monthly average temperature ranged from 2 to 4 degrees above normal across the area and precipitation percentage of normal was highest in areas across north central Illinois. Snow amounts were also above normal, with the greatest amounts across northern Illinois.

Meteorological Fall 2015 was very mild across the Midwest and also wetter than normal for most of northern Illinois, though drier than normal conditions were observed in parts of northwest Indiana. It was much snowier than normal due to the significant, near record for some areas, November 20-21 snowstorm.
