5/13 Locally Heavy Rainfall Summary

[3:55 PM CDT - Tuesday 5/14/2024] Scattered showers persist this evening and overnight mainly south of I-80. Quieter tomorrow then shower/storm chances return Thursday into Friday. Temperatures trend warmer each day though cooler conditions are expected near the lakeshore.

Slow-moving, scattered thunderstorms produced swaths of locally heavy rainfall in portions of northern Illinois and northwest Indiana yesterday, leading to localized flooding at some locations.
