Severe thunderstorms are expected across the Central Plains accompanied by damaging wind gusts and large hail. In addition, heavy rainfall may lead to instances of flash flooding from the Plains and mid-Atlantic regions. Congratulations to David! We received 8 valid entries - THANK YOU. The judges were very impressed. They said it was hard choosing the winner. Northeastern Wyoming and western South Dakota residents had plenty of furious natural events to capture this summer. The photographs depicted this fact most excellently.
