Helene Strengthening and Expected to Bring Catastrophic Winds and Storm Surge to the Northeastern Gulf Coast

Helene is expected to bring life-threatening and catastrophic storm surge and damaging hurricane-force winds to Florida and inland across the Southeast. Catastrophic and life-threatening flash/urban flooding, including landslides, is expected across the southern Appalachians. Pittsburg County (Crowder) Tornado

 

A tornado was observed at 5:17 PM, approximately 3 miles south of Crowder in Pittsburg County. This tornado briefly touched down on Lake Eufaula. There was no significant path and no damage. This tornado was rated an EF0.
