Santa Ana winds will strengthen and spread southward with the strongest winds for the San Diego County mountains and inland valleys for late tonight into early Friday morning with gusts to 55 to 65 mph and isolated gusts to 80 mph. The winds will diminish from north to south late tonight and Friday.
A few degrees cooler than Wednesday near the coast with inland areas a few degrees warmer to 4 to 8 degrees warmer for the mountains. High temperatures for today for the coastal areas: 67 to 73, western valleys and inland Orange County: 71 to 75, inland valleys: 65 to 71, mountains between 4000 feet and 7000 feet: 43 to 54, high desert: 56 to 60, low desert: 69 to 73.
It will continue to be very dry for inland areas through Friday with lowest daytime humidity around 10 percent for today and Friday.
