Areas of gusty northeasterly Santa Ana winds will spread southeastward across the areas today and continue into Wednesday with winds mostly 25 to 35 mph and gusts to 55 mph. Along and near the coastal slopes of the San Bernardino and San Gabriel Mountains near the Cajon Pass, there could be gusts to 80 to 90 mph for late Tuesday night.
It will continue to be very dry for inland areas through Wednesday with lowest daytime humidity on Tuesday around 10 percent with poor overnight recovery.
Temperatures will drop down to the upper 20s and lower 30s for areas of the Inland Empire and San Diego Valleys. Mountain communities above 6000 feet could see low temperatures in the teens.
