Warm, moist, and humid air continued to create an unstable air mass over the Missouri Ozarks and southeast Kansas ahead of a stationary front in the Plains. Another wave of upper level energy interacted with the unstable air mass to produce another round of severe storms on the 23rd into the early morning hours of the 24th. Several wind reports occurred over central Missouri and one tornado occured over south central Missouri.
