The storm that brought snow to the region Saturday and Sunday, left a blanket of white across southwest Missouri and southeast Kansas.  Total snow accumulations ranged from a trace to around 5 inches, with lower amounts generally to the east near Rolla and higher totals further west.  Cold temperatures that settled in ahead of this system prevented melting of the snow as it reached the ground, causing accumulations on roadways and difficulties in travel across the area.
