National Weather Service United States Department of Commerce

A powerful storm system brought severe storms to portions of the Missouri Ozarks Saturday afternoon. Several reports of wind damage were received, with one weak tornado confirmed around Table Rock Lake. This same storm system was responsible for a severe weather outbreak from the Ohio River, south to the Gulf Coast. Numerous reports of tornadoes and wind damage were received across this region.

A NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE STORM SURVEY REVEALED THAT AN EF-0
TORNADO WITH 80 MPH WINDS TOUCHED DOWN OVER THE TABLE ROCK LAKE
STATE PARK MARINA AND CAMPGROUNDS. THE TORNADO DAMAGED A FEW DOCKS
WHILE CAUSING TREE DAMAGE IN CAMPSITE NUMBER 2. THE DAMAGE PATH
EXTENDED FOR ONE HALF OF A MILE...WHILE THE WIDTH WAS
APPROXIMATELY 70 YARDS.
