...STORM DUMPS 6 TO 8 INCHES OF SNOW OVER PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI...

A winter storm that moved east from the central and souther plains into southern Missouri last night dumped heavy snow in a narrow band from southeastern Kansas to central Missouri. Most of the Missouri Ozarks were spared from significant snowfall.
