February 9th, 2003 - Snow Event

...February 9th Snowstorm...

A couple of upper level disturbances pushed through the region on February 9th. Gulf moisture advected back into the area ahead of these features and produced snowfall from around 6 AM into the evening hours. The accumulating snow was mainly confined to areas south and east of interstate 44. Below is a map of the reported snowfall from this storm.
