Overview
Severe storms moved across the Missouri Ozarks during the afternoon and evening of July 19th, 2018. While a couple of large hail reports were received, the majority of severe weather occurred with damaging straight line winds. Numerous reports of damaging winds with trees uprooted and power lines down were received. We also measured 74 mph at the office in Springfield.
