The wind rose shows distribution of wind direction per month at a TAF site for the entire 24 hours. It shows the percentage of time the wind is from a certain direction using the rings and the color indicates what percentage of time the wind speed is from that direction.

The histogram shows the percentage of time that visibility, ceiling and ceiling/visibility for varying flight categories occur.
