Heavy Rainfall in South Texas; Pacific Storm Moves into the Pacific Northwest

Thunderstorms may bring heavy to excessive rainfall and the potential for flooding over South Texas late Wednesday through Friday. A Moderate Risk (level 3 of 4) of excessive rainfall has been issued for portions of South Texas. NOAA Weather Radio Outage Through Early Next Week

The NOAA Weather Radio stations that serve the Canon City, Colorado region, Lamar, Colorado region, and the Walsenburg, Colorado region are currently off the air due to a computer software problem. Radio technicians anticipate that the three weather radio stations will be fixed and returned to service by early next week.
