From early on I had planned an enlistment in the USAF, early in that endeavor I decided to make the USAF a career with goal of retiring after 20yrs service. Eventually cross-training into the Air Traffic Control & Weather RADAR field.

What led you to a career with the NWS (National Weather Service)?

My final assignment with the USAF was in Norman, OK working at the RADAR Operations Center (ROC). The ROC is a Tri-agency office supporting the NEXRAD RADAR, which lead to my direct involvement with the NWS.
