Team Charter
for
Site Specific Hydrologic Model Development

Vision: Include a site specific hydrologic model WFO Hydrologic Forecast System (WHFS).
Mission: Develop and test a site specific hydrologic model that is integrated into the WHFS
framework. Goal: Deliver a fully integrated site specific hydrologic model to AWIPS for Build
5.2.1.

Scope and Authority:

Implementation must reflect resource limitations
Analysis must be objective and unbiased
Decisions made by Team Leader based on majority agreement
Staff time and any necessary travel expenses will be covered by the team members'
organization.

Termination Date: Team members began working informally in October, 2000. The team will
formally be assembled in January, 2001 and remain through September 2001.

Success Criteria: An integrated site specific hydrologic model incorporated into WHFS for
AWIPS Build 5.2.1.

Team Membership: The team will be made up of two representatives from MBRFC, and two
representatives from the Office of Hydrologic Development. The team will be led by Edwin
Welles of the Office of Hydrologic Development.
