Severe Weather in the Plains; Heavy Rainfall in the Ohio and Tennessee Valleys; Heat Wave in the Central U.S.

Numerous severe storms with a potential for severe wind gusts, tornadoes (some potentially strong), and very large hail are expected in parts of the central and northern Plains. New connectivity allows dissemination of Non-Weather Emergency Messages (NWEMs) from external providers and Local Storm Reports (LSRs) that were generated using the latest NWS software update.
