National Weather Service Negaunee MI
415 AM EST Tue Jan 21 2025

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 30.8 inch high over the Central Plains will
continue to extend ridging up to 30.5 inches over the west half of
Lake Superior through this morning as it meanders toward Kentucky
for late today. Meanwhile, a 30.3 inch trough will persist over
eastern Lake Superior and a 29.7 inch clipper low develops over
the Canadian Prairie. The low will weaken to around 30 inches by
Wednesday as it passes across Lake Superior. Weak troughing will
persist over the lake into Thursday morning before a 30.2 inch
ridge builds in from the west Thursday night into Friday. Then, a
29.3 inch low over Hudson Bay drags a 29.9 inch trough eastward
over the lake the rest of the weekend.
