Areas of Severe Thunderstorms and Excessive Rainfall Through This Weekend

Severe thunderstorms which can bring large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes will be possible over parts of the central U.S. through this weekend. Overview

A line of thunderstorms moved across southern WI during the early morning hours of April 20. The Sheboygan area got some 1 inch hail. A swath of 50-60 mph winds moved across southern Waukesha county, eastern Walworth County, southern Milwaukee County and into Racine County. Many trees were snapped and uprooted. The hardest hit area was eastern Racine County where winds were about 60-70 mph.
