A fiber optic outage that occurred earlier Wednesday continues to
result in a loss of NOAA Weather Radio programming across southern
Wisconsin. This outage is preventing information
originating from the National Weather Service Office in Sullivan
from reaching the radio transmitter sites, and users can expect
to hear static until the problem is fixed.

Telecommunication technicians are actively investigating the
issue, but unfortunately a restoration time has not been
determined.
