National Weather Service United States Department of Commerce

Low pressure will continue to track northeast into southern lower Michigan today. The rain is diminishing, but the chance of light showers will linger through the day.

The Winter Weather Advisory is extended until noon today, mainly north of Madison and Milwaukee, as some light freezing rain may mix in with the light rain in that area. The cold pavement temperatures should result in some icing through late morning on untreated roads and sidewalks across the entire area. Areas of fog may reduce visibility to a mile or less at times through late morning. Use caution if driving.

Precipitation Type

Generally southerly winds will prevail through the week, resulting in much warmer temperatures for southern Wisconsin. High temperatures will be in the upper 30s to middle 40s for the latter half of the week.
