The Pikesville NOAA Weather Radio Transmitter KEC-83, located in Pikesville, Maryland and broadcasting on a frequency of 162.400 megahertz, has encountered a mechanical error that is causing a degraded transmission. Technicians have identified the issue, but will be unable to make full repair until at least Thursday June 27th, 2024.
