A cold front pressing east across the central U.S. will be the focus for areas of strong to severe thunderstorms and excessive rainfall through this weekend. Strong to severe thunderstorms my bring damaging winds, hail, and a few tornadoes while excessive rainfall may lead to areas of flooding. Noted discrepancies:  SPC and NCDC list this as an F2...Grazulis does not list it.  SPC and Storm Data give a time of 12:10am, NCDC gives 12:06am.  SPC gives a path width of 10 yards, NCDC says 30 yards.  Storm Data says it struck one mile south of Salem and moved east.
