Severe thunderstorms are expected across the Central Plains accompanied by damaging wind gusts and large hail. In addition, heavy rainfall may lead to instances of flash flooding from the Plains and mid-Atlantic regions. Narrative:  A tornado moved northeast from near Park City to Cave City.  Fifty homes were damaged or destroyed, mostly in and near Cave City.  Some of the dead were found 300 yards from where they were sleeping.  The Masonic Hall and two churches were destroyed.  The track may very well have continued on past Barren County.
