shadowharmelss but scary looking  At first glance this looks frighteningly like a tornado, however it was just a harmless cloud silhouetted by the setting sun.  The lack of rotation in the cloud made it apparent that there was no tornado.  These photos were taken in Jasper, Indiana on May 5. pileus A developing thunderstorm south of Mount Washington, Kentucky, on June 26.  The small cloud at the top is a pileus cloud, sometimes called a cap cloud.  This is formed as a layer of cool moist air above the thunderstorm is lifted by updrafts from within the main cloud.  Michael Montgomery
Tent A storm on July 4 caused this tent to collapse in Versailles.  Many instruments were damaged, though fortunately there were no injuries.  The evening concert had to be canceled.
