Two Storms Tracking through the Southwest and Southcentral U.S.

A storm over the southwest U.S. will shift east through Thursday while another Pacific storm pivots over the region Friday through the weekend. Widespread low elevation rain and high elevation snow showers are expected with each storm. On April 16, Bellarmine University in Louisville became the sixth university in Kentucky to be recognized as a StormReady University. Bellarmine is the Commonwealth's first private StormReady university. The Office of Public Safety has aligned the University's severe weather response with national best practices, and developed a comprehensive Emergency Operations Plan that could be a model for campus preparedness everywhere.
