Gusty Winds in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast; Atmospheric River to Impact the Northwest

Gusty winds are expected from portions of the Mid-Atlantic into the Northeast through the night following the system that brought rain to the area. An atmospheric river will move into the Northwest late today into Saturday bringing moderate to heavy rainfall, mountain snow, windy conditions, and high surf to the area over the weekend. Intermittent Outages on NOAA Weather Radio Transmitter KIH41 Lexington

 

Intermittent outages are expected on NOAA Weather Radio transmitter KIH41/Lexington (162.400 MHz) over the next few weeks as technicians perform regular maintenance. If there is imminent severe weather, maintenance will be postponed to ensure that service is restored. Across portions of the area covered by the KIH41 transmitter, you may be able to receive signal from WZ2523/Frankfort (162.500 MHz), KZZ48/Owenton (162.450 MHz), and/or KZZ63/Campbellsville (162.525 MHz) We thank you for your patience and understanding while we perform maintenance.
