Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible from the central Plains to the Northeast through this evening. Widespread damaging winds are the primary threat but hail and a tornado or two is also possible. An NWS Storm Survey Team will be heading out to Jefferson and Oldham counties this morning to survey damage. Crews will determine whether damage was caused by a tornado or straight line winds, and will assign a magnitude.
