SUSTAINED TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS WITH PEAK GUSTS ESTIMATED IN THE
50 TO 60 MPH RANGE DOWNED NUMEROUS TREES AND AND SOME POWER LINES
ACROSS THE PARISH. THE GONZALES AWOS REPORTED A PEAK WIND GUST OF 55
MPH. A DOWNED POWERLINE CAUSED A FIRE TO BREAK OUT AT A GROCERY STORE
IN DONALDSONVILLE.
AMITE 0 0 0
TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS WITH PEAK GUSTS ESTIMATED IN THE 50 TO 60
MPH RANGE RESULTED IN MOSTLY MINOR IMPACTS TO THE COUNTY. SEVERAL
TREES AND SOME POWER LINES WERE DOWNED. AT THE PEAK ROUGHLY HALF OF
THE COUNTY WAS WITHOUT POWER.
ASSUMPTION 0 0 0
SUSTAINED TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS WITH PEAK GUSTS ESTIMATED IN THE
50 TO 60 MPH RANGE DOWNED TREES AND SOME POWER LINES. AT THE PEAK
APPROXIMATELY 25 PERCENT OF THE PARISH WAS WITHOUT POWER.
EAST BATON ROUGE 0 0 0
SUSTAINED TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS WITH PEAK GUSTS IN THE 50 TO 60
MPH RANGE DOWNED NUMEROUS TREES AND SNAPPED SOME POWER POLES ACROSS
THE PARISH. FALLING TREES CAUSED DAMAGE TO A FEW STRUCTURES AND LED
TO WIDESPREAD POWER OUTAGES AS THE TREES OR LIMBS FELL ON POWER
LINES. OVER 140 ROADS WERE BLOCKED BY FALLEN TREES AND AT THE PEAK,
MORE THAN 75,000 HOMES OR APPROXIMATELY 35 PERCENT OF THE PARISH
WERE WITHOUT POWER. ADDITIONALLY, HEAVY RAIN ON THE DAY BEFORE THE
STORM`S MAIN IMPACTS ARRIVED RESULTED IN MINOR TO MODERATE FLOODING
ALONG THE COMITE RIVER WITH AT LEAST A FEW HOMES TAKING ON WATER IN
THE LOWEST LYING AREAS ALONG THE RIVER.
EAST FELICIANA 0 0 0
SUSTAINED TROPICAL STORM FORCEW WINDS WITH PEAK GUSTS ESTIMATED IN
THE 50 TO 60 MPH RANGE RESULTED IN MINOR TO MODERATE WIND DAMAGE
ACROSS THE PARISH. NUMEROUS TREES WERE DOWNED AND AROUND 80 PERCENT
OF THE PARISH WAS WITHOUT POWER AT THE PEAK.
HANCOCK 0 0 0
THE COUNTY EXPERIENCED MINOR TO MODERATE IMPACTS FROM STORM SURGE
FLOODING ALONG WITH A TROPICAL STORM FORCE WIND GUSTS MAINLY IN
COASTAL AREAS. THE ANEMOMETER AT THE BAY WAVELAND YACHT CLUB (WYCM6)
REPORTED A PEAK WIND GUST OF 54 MPH AND A PEAK WATER LEVEL OF 3.48
FT MHHW. OVER 100 ROADS IN LOW LYING PORTIONS OF THE COUNTY WERE
COVERED BY WATER AND SEVERAL WERE IMPASSIBLE. THE GREATEST IMPACTS
WERE FELT IN THE LOW LYING AREAS OF BAY ST. LOUIS AND DIAMONDHEAD.
HARRISON 0 0 0
THE COUNTY EXPERIENCED MINOR IMPACTS DUE TO TROPICAL STORM FORCE
WIND GUSTS AND STORM SURGE. BOTH THE GULFPORT AND BILOXI ASOS
SITES REPORTED PEAK GUSTS OF 44 MPH. A WEATHER FLOW SITE SITUATED
CLOSER TO THE COAST IN GULFPORT RECORDED A PEAK GUST OF 46 MPH.
A FEW STREETS WERE BLOCKED BY DOWNED TREES OR POWER LINES. MINOR
FLOODING FROM STORM SURGE AFFECTED THE OPEN SHORE AS WELL AS LOWER
SECTIONS OF THE WOLF, BILOXI, AND TCHOUTACABOUFFA RIVERS, AND THE
BACK BAY OF BILOXI. THE SURGE BEACHED AT LEAST ONE SAILBOAT.
IBERVILLE 0 0 0
WIDESPREAD SUSTAINED TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS RESULTED IN MINOR TO
MODERATE IMPACTS ACROSS THE PARISH MAINLY DUE TO DOWNED TREES AND
POWER LINES. PEAK WIND GUSTS ACROSS MOST OF THE PARISH ARE ESTIMATED
IN THE 60 TO 70 MPH RANGE, BUT HIGHER GUSTS MAY HAVE OCCURRED ACROSS
THE FAR WESTERN PORTION OF THE PARISH CLOSEST TO DELTA`S CENTER. AT
THE PEAK, APPROXIMATELY 40 PERCENT OF THE PARISH WAS WITHOUT POWER.
A FEW STRUCTURES ALSO SUFFERED MINOR ROOF AND SIDING DAMAGE.
JACKSON 0 0 0
NO SIGNIFICANT IMPACTS.
JEFFERSON 0 0 0
MINOR IMPACTS FROM TROPICAL STORM FORCE WIND GUSTS AND STORM SURGE
AFFECTED THE PARISH. THE HIGHEST OFFICIAL GUST OBSERVED IN THE
PARISH WAS 49 MPH AT NEW ORLEANS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IN KENNER.
AT THE PEAK APPROXIMATELY 7000 HOMES WERE WITHOUT POWER. MINOR
STORM SURGE FLOODING ALSO AFFECTED THE SOUTHERN END OF THE PARISH
FROM GRAND ISLE TO THE NORTHERN END OF BARATARIA BAY. THE GRAND
ISLE TIDE GAUGE RECORDED A PEAK OF 1.93 FT MHHW.
LAFOURCHE 0 0 0
MINOR IMPACTS FROM TROPICAL STORM FORCE WIND GUSTS AND STORM SURGE
AFFECTED THE PARISH. POWER OUTAGES WERE REPORTED ACROSS PORTIONS
OF THE PARISH DUE TO THE STRONG WINDS. THE WINDS ALSO CAUSED MINOR
DAMAGE IN SOME AREAS, TOPPLING THE NEW SIGN IN FRONT OF CENTRAL
LAFOURCHE HIGH SCHOOL, FOR INSTANCE. FLOODING FROM STORM SURGE
RESULTED IN THE CLOSURE OF A FEW ROADS ON FRIDAY OCT 9. THE TIDE
GAUGE AT PORT FOURCHON RECORDED A PEAK WATER LEVEL OF 1.79 FT
MHHW.
LIVINGSTON 0 2 0
THE PARISH EXPERIENCED MINOR TO MODERATE IMPACTS FROM TROPICAL
STORM FORCE WINDS AND FLOODING. PEAK GUSTS THE PARISH ARE
ESTIMATED IN THE 50-60 MPH RANGE. NUMEROUS TREES AND SOME POWER
POLES WERE DOWNED WITH WITH THE WORST DAMAGE ON THE WEST SIDE OF
THE PARISH. ONE TREE FELL ON A HOME IN WATSON SEVERELY INJURING
THE MAN WHO LIVED THERE. HIS WIFE ALSO SUFFERED MINOR INJURIES.
AT THE PEAK, AROUND 30 PERCENT OF THE PARISH WAS WITHOUT POWER.
THE TOWNS OF FRENCH SETTLEMENT AND PORT VINCENT EXPERIENCED A
PROLONGED POWER OUTAGE AS A RESULT OF THE MAJOR POWER LINES
BETWEEN THE TWO COMMUNITIES BEING DAMAGED. ADDITIONALLY, HEAVY
RAIN UPSTREAM RESULTED IN MINOR FLOODING ALONG THE AMITE RIVER
NEAR DENHAM SPRINGS.
ORLEANS 0 0 0
THE PARISH EXPERIENCED MINIMAL IMPACTS MAINLY DUE TO STORM SURGE.
PEAK WIND GUSTS WERE GENERALLY IN THE 40 TO 50 MPH RANGE AND A
FEW POWER OUTAGES WERE REPORTED. WATER LEVELS IN LAKE BORGNE AND
LAKE PONTCHARTRAIN RESULTED IN NUISANCE FLOODING ACROSS AREAS
OUTSIDE THE HURRICANE RISK REDUCTION SYSTEM LEVEES INCLUDING
ALONG LAKESHORE DRIVE AND THROUGH VENETIAN ISLES.
PLAQUEMINES 0 0 0
THE PARISH EXPERIENCED MINOR COASTAL FLOODING AS A RESULT OF STORM
SURGE ACROSS AREAS OUTSIDE OF THE HURRICANE RISK REDUCTION SYSTEM
LEVEES. THE TIDE GAUGE AT PILOTS STATION RECORDED A PEAK WATER
LEVEL OF 2.03 MHHW.

MINOR IMPACTS DUE TO TROPICAL STORM FORCE WIND GUSTS WERE FELT IN
THE COUNTY. THE MCCOMB AIRPORT ASOS (KMCB) RECORDED A PEAK WIND
GUST OF 52 MPH. A FEW TREES WERE DOWNED AND AT THE PEAK ABOUT 40
PERCENT OF THE COUNTY WAS WITHOUT POWER.
POINTE COUPEE 0 1 0
SUSTAINED TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS WITH GUSTS LIKELY IN EXCESS
OF 70MPH ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE PARISH RESULTED IN WIDESPREAD
WIND DAMAGE IMPACTS. THE HIGHEST RECORDED GUST WAS 60MPH AT THE
