REPORTED AT SITE ABKL1. ONE SHELTER WAS OPENED IN THE PARISH WITH A
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY OF 8 PEOPLE.

TO APPROXIMATELY 25 HOUSES AND MOBILE HOMES. A FEW SUFFERED MODERATE
DAMAGE DUE TO FALLING TREES OR LARGE LIMBS. 75 PERCENT OF THE PARISH
WAS WITHOUT ELECTRICAL POWER DURING THE PEAK OF THE STORM. THE EOC
IN NAPOLEONVILLE RECORDED A MAXIMUM WIND GUST OF 55 MPH/48 KTS. STORM
TOTAL RAINFALL ESTIMATES ACROSS THE PARISH VARIED FROM 3 TO 4 INCHES
ACROSS THE EASTERN SIDE OF THE PARISH TO HIGHER THAN 8 INCHES ACROSS
THE EXTREME WESTERN SIDE OF THE PARISH.

MODERATE TREE DAMAGE WITH NUMEROUS LARGE LIMBS AND A FEW TREES
DOWNED. MINOR POWER OUTAGES WERE REPORTED WITH A PEAK OUTAGE OF LESS
THAN 10 PERCENT OF THE PARISH. ADDITIONALLY...LOCALIZED STREET
FLOODING WAS REPORTED ON 7/14 DURING PERIODS OF HEAVY RAINFALL. THE
BATON ROUGE AIRPORT ASOS REPORTED A MAXIMUM WIND GUST OF 49 MPH
AROUND MIDDAY ON 7/13. RAINFALL ACROSS THE PARISH GENERALLY RANGED
FROM 3 TO 5 INCHES WITH A NARROW BAND OF 6 TO 8 INCH TOTALS ACROSS
THE FAR EASTERN PORTIONS OF THE PARISH. THE HIGHEST REPORTED
RAINFALL WAS 7.84 INCHES NEAR MONTICELLO AT COCORAHS SITE LA-EB-19.

WIND GUSTS, BUT NO SIGNIFCANT IMPACTS HAVE BEEN REPORTED. STORM
TOTAL RAIN IS ESTIMATED AT 2 TO 5 INCHES ACROSS THE PARISH WITH
HIGHEST TOTALS GENERALLY IN THE SOUTHEASTERN PART OF THE PARISH. THE
HIGHEST REPORTED STORM TOTAL RAINFALL WAS 4.84 INCHES NEAR NORWOOD
AT SITE NWDL1.

FREQUENT TROPICAL STORM FORCE WIND GUSTS RESULTED IN MINOR DAMAGE TO
MOBILE HOMES AND OTHER LIGHT WEIGHT STRUCTURS. DAMAGE MAINLY
CONSISTED OF SHINGLES BLOWN OFF, PORCH ROOF DAMAGE, ETC. A FEW TREES
AND LARGE BRANCHES WERE ALSO DOWNED, AND IT IS ESTIMATED 30 PERCENT
OF THE PARISH WAS WITHOUT POWER AT THE PEAK OF THE STORM. BEST
ESTIMATE RAINFALL ACROSS THE PARISH RANGED FROM 3 TO 8 INCHES WITH
THE HIGHEST TOTALS IN THE FAR EASTERN PORTION OF THE PARISH NEAR THE
ASCENSION PARISH LINE. THE HIGHEST OBSERVED RAINFALL WAS 6.74 INCHES
NEAR CARVILLE AT SITE CRVL1.

GRAND ISLE ACCESS WAS CUTOFF BY STORM SURGE FLOODING ON LA HWY 1 IN

HEAVY RAINFALL. STRONG WINDS ALSO ALSO DOWNED IN DENHAM SPRINGS. THE
TREE CAUSED MINOR ROOF DAMAGE TO A VACANT HOME. RAINFALL TOTALS
VARIED SIGNIFICANLY ACROSS THE PARISH WITH THE NORTHEAST PORTION OF
THE PARISH SEEING AS LITTLE AS TWO INCHES AND THE NORTHWEST PORTION
OF THE PARISH RECEIVING 8 INCHES OR MORE. THE HIGHEST REPORTED TOTAL
WAS 8.83 INCHES NEAR DENHAM SPRINGS AT COCORAHS SITE LA-LV-4.

STORM SURGE RESULTED IN MINOR FLOODING OUTSIDE THE HURRICANE RISK
REDUCTION LEVEES ALONG US 90 AND IRISH BAYOU BEGINNING 7/11. MAXIMUM
DEPTH ON THOSE ROADWAYS WAS ONE FOOT OR LESS. STORM SURGE FLOODING
ABATED ON 7/14. VOLUNTARY EVACUATION ORDERS WERE ISSUED FOR AREAS
OUTSIDE THE HSDRRS IN FAR EAST NEW ORLEANS, WITH ONE SHELTER OPENED
FOR HOMELESS AND VULNERABLE POPULATIONS DURING THE EVENT. THE NEW
CANAL TIDE GAUGE ON THE OLREANS PARISH LAKEFONT REPORTED A MAXIMUM
WATER LEVEL OF 3.12 FT MHHW. OCASSIONAL TROPICAL STORM FORCE GUSTS
AND STORM TOTAL RAINFALL OF 1-3 INCHES WERE REPORTED ACROSS THE
PARISH.

STORM SURGE FLOODING TO AREAS OUTSIDE THE HURRICANE RISK REDUCTION
LEVEES. PEAK STORM SURGE OF AROUND 5 FT OVERTOPPED A LOCAL BACK LEVEE
NEAR MYRTLE GROVE DURING THE EARLY MORNING HOURS OF 7/13. ONE
SECONDARY ROAD AND SEVERAL LIFT STATIONS WERE DAMAGED BY THE
FLOODING. LA HWY 23 WAS COVERED BY SEVERALINCHES OF WATER, BUT WAS
NOT SHUT DOWN. EVACUATIONS WERE ORDERED FORAREAS OUTSIDE THE HSDRRS
WITH ONE NURSING HOME EVACUATED (110 RESIDENTS) AND 600 PRISONERS
EVACATED FROM THE DAVANT DETENTION CENTER. ONE PARISH SHELTER WAS
OPENED WITH A PEAK OCCUPANCY OF 106 RESIDENTS AND 21 PETS.
OCCASIONAL TO FREQUENT TROPICAL STORM FORCE WIND GUSTS WERE OBSERVED
THROUGHOUT THE PARISH. STORM TOTAL RAINFALL ACROSS THE PARISH RANGED
FROM LESS THAN AN INCH TO AROUND 2.5 INCHES WITH THE HIGHEST
OBSERVED TOTAL BEING 2.36 INCHES AT SITE KNBG.

LED TO FLOODING OF SECDARY ROADWAYS AND MINOR FLOODING OF A FEW HOMES
AND OTHER BUILDINGS ON THE MORNING OF 7/15. THERE ARE NO RAINFALL
OBSERVATIONS IN THAT AREA, BUT STORM TOTAL RADAR ESTIMATES ARE IN THE
10 TO 15 INCH RANGE THERE WITH MOST FALLING ON THE 15TH. OUTSIDE THE
EXTREME NORTHERN PART OF THE PARISH MOST PLACES LIKELY RECEIVED 3 TO
6 INCHES OF RAIN FROM THE STORM, WITH THE HIGHEST REPORTED TOTAL
BEING 5.61 INCHES IN NEW ROADS AT SITE NWRL1.

MINOR STORM SURGE FLOODING OF AREAS OUTSIDE THE HSDRRS. LA HWY 46 AND
LA HWY 300 WERE BOTH FLOODED WITH 6 TO 12 INCHES OF WATER. THE NOS
TIDE GAUGE AT SHELL BEACH REPORTED A MAXIMUM WATER LEVEL OF 3.19
FEET MHHW.
STORM TOTAL RAINFALL ACROSS THE PARISH IS GENERALLY ESTIMATED TO BE
IN THE 2 TO 4 INCH RANGE EXCEPT FOR EXTREME EASTERN PARTS OF THE
PARISH WHERE LOWER TOTALS ARE LIKELY. THE HIGHEST OBSERVED RAINFALL
TOTAL IS 2.96 INCHES NEAR ST. BERNARD AT COCORAHS SITE LA-SB-2.

SEVERAL TREES WERE BLOWN DOWN BY TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS. FALLING
TREES DAMAGED ONE MOBILE HOME AND ONE HOUSE, AND CAUSED A FEW ROADS
TO BE CLOSED. WATER LEVELS ON THE WEST BANK ROSE ABOUT 1.5 FT HIGHER
THAN NORMAL DUE TO STORM SURGE, WITH NO IMPACT TO ROADS OR HOMES. ON
THE EAST BANK, THE TIDE GAUGE AT THE BONNET CARRE SPILLWAY REPORTED A
MAXIMUM WATER LEVEL OF 4.31 FT MHHW, BUT WATER WAS ALREADY SOMEWHAT
ELEVATED IN THIS AREA BECAUSE OF ONGOING OPERATION OF THE SPILLWAY.
STORM TOTAL RAINFALL IN THE PARISH IS GENERALLY ESTIMATED IN THE 2 TO
4 INCH RANGE.

RANGED FROM AROUND 2 INCHES IN THE SOUTHEAST PORTION OF THE PARISH

THE HIGHEST REPORTED STORM TOTAL RAINFALL WAS 4.43 INCHES NEAR

LARGE BRANCHES ACROSS THE PARISH. AT THE PEAK OF THE STORM AROUND 10
PERCENT OF THE PARISH WAS WITHOUT POWER. STORM TOTAL RAINFALL ACROSS
THE PARISH IS GENERALLY ESTIMATED TO BE IN THE 3 TO 5 INCH RANGE.

ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST
STORM SURGE CAUSED MINOR FLOODING ALONG THE LAKEFRONT AREA OF THE
PARISH MAINLY NEAR FRENIER AND PEAVINE. OLD US HWY 51 WAS CLOSED DUE
TO FLOODING IN THE RUDDOCK AREA. STORM TOTAL RAINFALL ACROSS THE
PARISH IS GENERALLY ESTIMATED IN THE 2 TO 4 INCH RANGE.

ST. TAMMANY        0                  0                      0
STORM SURGE RESULTED IN MINOR FLOODING OF LOW LYING ROADWAYS NEAR
LAKE PONTCHARTRAIN IN MADISONVILLE, MANDEVILLE, AS WELL AS SEVERAL
SUBDIVISIONS IN SLIDELL. THE USGS TIDE GAUGE ON BAYOU LIBERTY NEAR
SLIDELL REPORTED A PEAK WATER LEVEL OF 4.57 FT NAVD88, WHICH WAS
APPROXIMATLY 3.5 FEET HIGHER THAN ITS PRE-STORM READINGS. OCCASIONAL
TROPICAL STORM FORCE GUSTS WERE REPORTED THROUGHOUT THE PARISH,
CAUSING VERY MINOR TREE DAMAGE WITH A FEW LARGE BRANCHES BLOWN DOWN.
STORM TOTAL RAINFALL ACROSS THE PARISH WAS GENERALLY IN THE 3 TO 6
INCH RANGE, WITH A FEW LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS IN A SWATH FROM
LACOMBE TO TALISHEEK. THE HIGHEST RECORDED STORM TOTAL RAINFALL IN
THE PARISH WAS 6.46 INCHES NEAR LACOMBE AT COCORAHS SITE LA-ST.8.

OCCASIONAL TROPICAL STORM FORCE WIND GUSTS WERE REPORTED ACROSS THE
LOWER PORTION OF THE PARISH WITH NO SIGNIFICANT IMPACTS REPROTED.
STORM TOTAL RAINFALL ESTIMATES RANGED FROM 1 TO 2 INCHES ACROSS THE
NORTHERN END OF THE PARISH TO 3 TO 5 INCHES ACROSS THE SOUTHEASTERN
END OF THE PARISH. THE HIGHEST OBSERVED RAINFALL TOTAL WAS 3.07
INCHES NEAR KENTWOOD AT SITE LPOL1.

STORM SURGE FLOODING OF 3 TO 6 FEET AGL WAS REPORTED IN SOUTHERN
TERREBONNE PARISH. THE STORM SURGE RESULTED IN WIDESPREAD FLOODING OF
ROADWAYS IN AREAS OUTSIDE THE LOCAL LEVEE SYSTEM WITH WATER DEPTHS OF
GREATER THAN 3 FT. THE LOWER DULARGE EAST LEVEE SYSTEM WAS OVERTOPPED
RESULTING IN A FEW HOMES FLOODING. 10-15 RESIDENTS OF ILSE DE JEAN ST
CHARLES HAD TO BE RESCUED FROM HIGH WATER ON THE MORNING OF 7/13.
TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS RESULTED IN MODERATE TREE DAMAGE
THROUGHOUT THE PARISH WITH SOME TREES UPROTTED AND OTHER WEAKER
TREES SNAPPED. AT THE PEAK OF THE STORM APPROXIMATELY 50 PERCENT OF
THE PARISH WAS WITHOUT POWER. THE EOC IN GRAY REPORTED A MAXIMUM
WIND GUST OF 60 MPH.
STORM TOTAL RAINFALL ACROSS MOST OF THE PARISH IS ESTIMATED IN THE 2
TO 3 INCH RANGE. THE MAXIMUM OBSERVED STORM TOTAL RAINFALL WAS 2.75
INCHES NEAR DULAC AT SITE DLCL1.
