A few strong to severe storms could develop and move into southern portions of the area Friday afternoon. The primary concern would be for marginally severe hail and wind gusts.

There is a marginal risk for a severe weather event Saturday as a couple of weather disturbances move across the area. There is also much uncertainty with timing of storm initiation, so stay tuned for updates. As of now, hail and wind threats are the primary concern, and it seems the intensity would peak during the afternoon and evening.
