Last Map Update: Mon, Oct 28, 2024 at 7:26:15 am CDT

Areas of dense fog will affect portions of central and northeast Louisiana as well as portions of southern Mississippi through mid morning today. Be prepared to slow down in areas of dense fog as visibility can quickly drop to below one quarter of a mile.
Dry weather and southerly winds around 10 to 15 mph will result in Limited fire danger conditions in far northeast Louisiana, far southeast Arkansas, and northwestern Mississippi today. Heed local burn bans, and avoid activities that could create sparks or open flames near dry vegetation.
After early morning fog clears out today, mostly sunny skies will allow for temperatures to warm into the upper 80s to near 90 degrees across the forecast area.
Another foggy night is possible as warm air moves north from the Gulf Coast overnight. Low temperatures are expected to range from the upper 50s to lower 60s.
The forecast for Tuesday calls for partly cloudy skies and temperatures warming into the mid and upper 80s across the forecast area.
