Strong to severe storms are possible late Friday, mainly along and northwest of the Natchez Trace. Primary threats are for damaging wind gusts and hail to half dollar size. Possibility strong to severe storms remain into the weekend, although the scenario is still a few days out. Please continue to monitor the forecast for any further developments regarding this scenario.
Dry weather will prevail, with some patchy fog possible in southeast overnight through daybreak. Low temperatures will be seasonably warm, some 4 to 8 degrees above in the mid to upper 50s east of Interstate 55 to low 60s along and west of Interstate 55.
A few light rain showers or isolated storms are possible, mainly in portions of northeast Louisiana and southwest Mississippi. High temperatures will be seasonably warm, some 4 to 8 degrees above in the low to mid 80s.
