Strong to severe storms are possible late Friday, mainly along and northwest of the Natchez Trace. Primary threats are for damaging wind gusts and hail to half dollar size. Possibility strong to severe storms remain into the weekend, although the scenario is still a few days out. Dry weather will prevail, with some patchy fog possible in southeast overnight through daybreak. Low temperatures will be seasonably warm, some 4 to 8 degrees above in the mid to upper 50s east of Interstate 55 to low 60s along and west of Interstate 55.
