Leflore County Straight Line Wind Damage
Event Summary Straight line winds caused a swath of sporadic trees snapped and large limbs broken. Shingles were taken off of an old church on County Road 37, as well as off of a store on Highway 49. Three mobile homes lost skirting with one having the roof peeled off. Estimated winds were 75 mph with the swath being roughly 500 yards wide. |

Event Summary Straight line winds estimated to be 80 mph caused a power pole to lean. A home had half of the shingles torn off and the roof lifted. Damage to a shed also occurred. |
