A Pacific Storm Brings Precipitation and Gusty Winds to the West; Critical Fire Weather Conditions Return to the Southern Plains

A Pacific storm will bring widespread valley rain and mountain snow across California, the Great Basin, and the Intermountain West as well as portions of the Plains through Friday. Gusty winds may lead to periods of blowing snow and difficult travel conditions.
