One home was destroyed and 6 others were damaged near Byrd. One cafe and 4 homes were destroyed and several other buildings and homes were damaged south of Hamilton near Sugar Bend. Numerous trees were blown down and many farm buildings were damaged along the path.

The tornado touched down 2 miles northwest of Letohatchee and moved east through the Tabernacle and Pintlala communities. The tornado lifted 1 mile east of US Highway 31. Two homes were destroyed by fallen trees. One church and one home were un-roofed. Several houses were damaged and numerous farm buildings were damaged or destroyed. Considerable timber damage occurred.

A tornado touched down 5 miles southwest of Independence and moved east northeast. The tornado crossed Highway 82 south of Swift Creek. One church was destroyed, one church was damaged, 20 homes were damaged, a store was un-roofed, and several farm buildings were destroyed. Numerous trees were uprooted or were snapped off.

A tornado touched down and hit Brent east of Highway 5 and moved into Centreville. One home was demolished and 4 occupants were injured in Brent. Twenty five homes, a large sawmill and a large cotton mill were heavily damaged in Brent. Minor roof damage occurred in Centreville.

Trees were uprooted and many buildings sustained roof damage in Mt Carmel. Three homes and 4 barns were destroyed in Dudleyville.

Four homes were completely destroyed and at least 10 homes were damaged. Several barns and sheds were damaged or destroyed. Damage was reported in Ripley, Copeland, East Limestone, Harvest, Hazel Green and Pleona.
