National Weather Service Meteorologists have surveyed storm damage in Lowndes County and determined that the damage was the result of an EF-0 tornado. This brief touchdown occurred in the Mosses community. Several homes had minor shingle damage, some siding was peeled from the side of the elementary school, and one rotten hardwood was snapped. The tornado lifted just east of Mason Dr.
