THE TORNADO STARTED NEAR US HIGHWAY 80 AND MARIA AVENUE. SEVERAL LARGE TREES WERE BLOWN OVER ONTO HOMES PRODUCING SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE. SEVERAL MORE LARGE TREES WERE KNOCKED OVER AND DESTROYED A FEW MOBILE HOMES. ONE APARTMENT COMPLEX RECEIVED SIGNIFICANT ROOF DAMAGE. A FEW MOBILE HOMES WERE ROLLED OVER. THE TORNADO ENDED IN THE NORTHERN PART OF DEMOPOLIS NEAR US 43. 0935 PM TORNADO 7 SW GREENSBORO 32.63N 87.68W 11/30/2006 F1 HALE AL NWS STORM SURVEY THE TORNADO DAMAGE PATH WAS 11.3 MILES LONG AND 75 YARDS WIDE AT ITS WIDEST POINT. HUNDREDS OF TREES WERE SNAPPED OFF ALONG THE PATH. A FEW BARNS AND OUT-BUILDINGS SUFFERED VARYING DEGREES OF DAMAGE. ONE TRACTOR AND ONE AUTOMOBILE WERE DAMAGED. 0940 PM TORNADO 4 W GREENSBORO 32.70N 87.66W 11/30/2006 F0 HALE AL NWS STORM SURVEY THE TORNADO PATH WAS 3.3 MILES LONG AND 25 YARDS WIDE AT ITS WIDEST POINT. SEVERAL TREES WERE SNAPPED OFF ALONG THE PATH. THE LAKEVIEW COUNNTRY CLUB AND THE HALE COUNTY JAIL RECEIVED DAMAGE. 0952 PM TSTM WND DMG FAUNSDALE 32.46N 87.59W 11/30/2006 MARENGO AL EMERGENCY MNGR SEVERAL TREES WERE BLOWN DOWN ALONG HIGHWAY 80 NEAR FAUNSDALE. 0959 PM TORNADO 7 N GREENSBORO 32.80N 87.59W 11/30/2006 F1 HALE AL NWS STORM SURVEY THE TORNADO PATH LENGTH WAS 5.8 MILES AND WAS 75 YARDS WIDE AT ITS WIDEST POINT. HUNDREDS OF TREES WERE SNAPPED OFF ALONG THE PATH. 1020 PM TSTM WND DMG TUSCALOOSA 33.24N 87.54W 11/30/2006 TUSCALOOSA AL EMERGENCY MNGR SEVERAL TREES WERE BLOWN DOWN ACROSS THE COUNTY. SOME OF THE LOCATIONS INCLUDE BROOKWOOD...COKER...LAKE TUSCALOOSA...SIPSEY...AND NORTHPORT. 1028 PM TSTM WND DMG 6 NE WEST BLOCTON 33.18N 87.05W 11/30/2006 BIBB AL FIRE DEPT/RESCUE A FEW TREES WERE KNOCKED DOWN IN NORTH AND NORTHWEST BIBB COUNTY. 1120 PM TSTM WND DMG 2 E SYLVAN SPRINGS 33.51N 87.00W 11/30/2006 JEFFERSON AL EMERGENCY MNGR A FEW TREES WERE BLOWN DOWN IN THE MULGA COMMUNITY AND IN THE BAYVIEW COMMUNITY.
